About Me

My name is Akua Kumi from Aburi in the Eastern region of Ghana. I graduated from the university of Ghana with a second class Honor in Sociology. I hail from the norther region but I spent most of my education life in Aburi until I finally move into the university of Ghana {legon in the year 2010}. The reason in this movement was that my father was a civil servant and have always been of transfers from one region to the other, this and many more kept us changing environments till today.

After spending so much years in Aburi i got married to my husband who also works at parks and gardens. We happily stay together and have no kid yet. Due to the nature of his work and that of my field of study back in school it propel me to open up a business that is relatively closer in bringing tourist attraction and actually makes a site attraction of visitors. In fact venturing into this business idea came as a results of the mountainous area and the cool breeze located in my area{Aburi} that actually brings in more foreigners to this area.

I love art really, and most culturally handy made items. At my husband work place they plant a lot of flowers and that alone beautifies the area. It is base on these that I also decided to strategically situate my business along the shoulders of the road at his office premises in order to attract more customers.

My Business

Before starting these business , I had to raise some small funds from my savings account, and also from family and relatives. This wasn't enough though so i had to go in for a soft loan from a rural bank to add up in the opening of this business.

What i do is I travel to Bolgatanga in the upper east region to buy these handicrafts, and bring them to Aburi to now sell. In fact it is really not easy because of the cost of transportation, and the cost of VAT charges that i always have to pay.

But i am confident in zidisha, and then understands that if my business pick up I shall enjoy. Currently my turnover sales is not all that much, that is about 840 Ghs to 940 Ghs a month. I known strongly that this business will grow up one day.

Currently I need a soft loan to top up my money to procure some skin drums for some of my clients. So kindly help me my lenders, Thank you.

Loan Proposal

I will love to seek for a loan to top up on the little funds i have to procure some locally soft skin drums for my shop business. I believe this loan will go a long way to help me increase my sales and my income as well. I promise to fulfill all my repayment as stipulated in the agreement. Thank you.
