About Me

I grew up in Kakamega. Life was moderate and i managed to acquire education but later my father lost his job and that was the end of my education. I struggled to go to college but then to get job became very difficult and then i opted to start small business enterprise to support my livelihood.
I today live in Kakamega County. My dreams are to educate my children as long as i am still alive. Expand an establish digitized computer training center so that i may be able to train young people through affordable and quality technological skills in the global market.
I learned and adopted my entrepreneurial skills through Pr Omari who trained me on business skills. He taught me to be self employed in order to gain dignity in the society. During my free time i love reading alot

My Business

The business offer computer services that include printing, photocopying, lamination, binding, internet browsing and sells stationary. The market has potential due to emerging needs such as computer/video gaming services and instant photo development. The business has been in operation for one year and 8 months. Challenges that I face include, erratic power supply that pose a threat to my equipment. Also inadequate capital to acquire more equipment so as to meet current and growing demand. My customers are youths from my community as well as nearby schools and community centres. I envision to grow and expand my business by employing latest technology so as to meet customers expectations while earning profits.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be spent on buying additional assets for the business so as to enable me meet market needs. Purchase of an external writer and internet cables worth $ 180 will enable me to effectively burn back up data for individuals and educational institutions as well as improve effectiveness of information access in the cyber cafe. This would in turn increase flow of customers resulting to increased revenue. Increased revenue will enable me expand my business and provide a better life for my family.
