About Me

I was born in Kereba Village, Kisii county in 1988,went to Ekerubo CCF primary school for primary education and later Kanga High School for secondary education. Finally I went to college for business management but got it hard to secure a sustaining job in this developing country.
I am happily married with two kids Ryan and Dylan.
Due to hardship in getting basic needs, I had been introduced to agribusiness by my parents who always taught us to be self defendant through small projects and the only available resource was fertile soil.
Through seminars and workshops i have gained skills to boost my projects.

Where a live people are friendly and form 50% of my market. It has as well given me an opportunity to be their mentor making me more passionate and gaining more insight to agribusiness.
My projects supports my young family on basic needs and school fees. The community as well benefits on nutritional value as well as learning how to run their own through me.
I want my children to get good education that can transform the society and their individual lives. So part of my profits go for their education and insurance premiums for their education .
My Hobby is reading empowerment and motivational business journals.

My Business

My business is registered as ZEDOMAX ENTERPRISE. It primarily majors in agribusiness and my products are kales, cabbage, onions, spinach, local nutritional vegetables, poultry and one dairy cow.
On poultry my main products are eggs and indigenous broilers chicken.
My business has ready market that is 45% within the village and 55% in the surrounding small markets and institutions like schools and hospitals.

The typical costs are; cost for seeds, manure, farm chemicals, poultry feeds, periodic poultry medication and vaccination program.

My revenues are sale of farm produce and poultry products.

My profits are used as 35% family up keep and preschool fees for my sons, 15% plough back to expand the projects, 20% Zidisha loan repayment, 15% savings and 15% diversification.

As part of diversification I am improving my small dairy project as well as doing dairy fodder for sale due to the demand within.

Loan Proposal

I will spend $ 91 on buying pesticides for my vegetables.
I will spend the remaining $ 100 to purchase fertilizers.
After this investment i will realize increased production. From this my community will have plenty of food from my farm. I will also be able to employ a few youths and women.
I expect my profits to raise by 70%. I will use the raised income in reinvestment and expansion of my firm, meet my family needs, support women groups and youth groups.
